I've known and have been seeing Dr. Hines since February 2009. He is a great listener. He asks questions and helps me to see things in a different way if I have a concern. Yes, Dr. Hines is in demand and he should be. He treats you with the uttermost respect. I love him as my doctor and consider him as a friend. His staff is caring also. I'm not too familiar with his new assistant, but I have had many calls to her and she is always respectful.
I've been seeing Dr. Hines for 3.5 years. While in the midst of cancer treatment I was having significant anxiety. I needed help, I needed medicine, and I didn't have time to wait. Dr. Hines saw me w/in six days and was remarkably helpful during a difficult time. Dr. Hines is the best! I struggled for over a year with another doctor and Dr. Hines has me feeling better in just a few weeks. He is very understanding and kind as well as being very knowledgeable. If you’re looking for help, do not hesitate to see Dr. Hines!
I just wanted to update my review. After leaving Dr. Hines for another psychiatrist who accepted my insurance I am back with Dr. Hines. I only wish he would see family members. My daughter needs a good doctor right now and I’m not thrilled about taking her to someone else. I may switch doctors in order for her to see him. What’s a mom who wants the best for her daughter to do?
Why does this doctor not take health insurance? Does he only cater to those who can afford to pay out of pocket?
Dr. Hines doesn't take my insurance so I pay full price- worth every penny. I've seen many psychiatrists through the years and he's the best! He listens to me and takes his time. No one has ever been so helpful helping me handle my depression.
