5 stars... As always, the absolute best venue for a clambake! The very attentive and courteous staff makes sure all goes smoothly and keeps the food stocked and hot, beer flowing and cold. As most of us would agree, the clams (steamed and raw) being the main draw of the event. Steamers were hot, sweet and plentiful, continuously restocked without ever running out, served with piping hot REAL butter. Raws were also excellent in their own right. Second Clambake this year and both times I was not impressed with the Mahogey clams. Raw were very good but they were little necks.

John I just recently saw your dissatisfaction with our facility, littlenecks are available steamed it is the choice of your organizations commitee which type they choose. Unfortunately there is a difference between the 2 types of clams. Thank you for your opinion and we are sorry to hear you did not enjoy yourself. Awesome bakes with plenty of fresh delicious food!
I worked at Hinerwadels as a teenager, I learned a lot from John Hinerwadel (JR.) It’s the way you treat people that makesthem keep coming back. I’ve heard from all kinds of people who attended a clam bake at Hinerwadels and they still say it’s the best around.���here’s to another 100 years!!
even with the rain, it was a nice day to hang out with fellow brothers and sisters of a very large and strong union. CSEA. never Quit. Hinderwadel's did a great job as usual with haven plenty of places to get out of the rain.
