If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Valley of the Sun Pediatrics has been nothing short of a nightmare. Appointments are consistently made with the doctor, yet when we arrive, a different nurse practitioner always takes the appointment. There is no consistency in care, which is extremely unfair to both the child and the parents.The wait times are beyond atrocious—on multiple occasions, my 4-year-old son has been forced to sit in the waiting room for over an hour.What’s worse is that the staff has been dis... read more

Great pediatrician, great hours (early morning and Saturdays)! We enjoy talking with her staff too! When we call we always speak with someone and they call us back promptly if we have left a message!
Our experience in going to the doctor's office has been great. The staff is very attentive and seems to understand "what having sick children" means. They have been very accomodating and explain situations where the lay person can understand. Highly recommend Dr. Hineman and Valley Sun Pediatrics!
Dr Hineman was great; her office and staff were horrible. Every time I brought my kids in for an appointment we would always arrive 15 minutes or more in case we needed to fill out any paperwork. Every time we had to wait almost 45 minutes or more PAST the scheduled appointment time. The staff was unsympathetic The billing was also horrible, preventative vaccines (Covered by insurance) were codded wrong multiple times forcing us to pay; the staff just said it was their policy.
