Someone should report these people for fraud. Run. The owner, Charles is a heartless, dishonest person. This company is dishonest and honestly should be investigated. They kept almost 100% of my deposit after I spent days and lots of $ hiring professions to clean. That place was spotless, yet they accuse me of having $1600 worth of damages. DO NOT do business with this company or any company related to Charles Escutia (Socius) as a tenant or property owner/landlord. He withheld part of my security deposit for unjustified reasons. We left the property in very clean and undamaged condition and he invented damages to charge us for. There was even pre-existing damage to the house before I moved in which he noted he would fix in the lease. He never fixed it and took the cost to fix it out of my deposit illegally. They manage the property I live at and do a terrible job responding and taking care of work orders. Will ignore and cancel work orders without saying why. Will tear out charm in your house and replace it with the “landlord special”. I wish my landlord did not use these people to manage our house.
What a joke! I would not recommend anyone to rent from this Establishment. I rented a place that hindsight managed for one year. I returned the place, exactly like it was despite one little tiny hole in the bedroom door. These people broke down my $1550 deposit into fractions of four or five different things like lightbulbs, paint, cleaning fee, kept my whole deposit for a bunch of made up things. Please look elsewhere and do not rent from Anywhere that this place manages.
Unfortunately, when moving out, Hindsite (specifically Charles Escutia and Meg) were unresponsive to our requests to provide and itemized receipt for cleaning and lawncare. We took a 9-minute walk out video and adhered to their move out cleaning checklist, but still were charged a $377 cleaning fee. We were billed $500 for mowing and edging.
