I first contacted Hinchman RE when I saw a listing for a bank foreclosure home I was interested in buying. Craig assisted me with the viewing and Lynae took care of the financial matters, including helping me obtain a HELOC on my home so I could make the purchase. Hinchman Real Estate is the absolute worst in La Porte county and the surrounding areas! We asked our Realtor to see a house that they were selling. Our realtor recommended that we contact Hinchman Real Estate ourselves, because they would not deal with them. Well, we found out first hand why our realtor would not deal with them, and our realtor was willing to give up the money they might make, just because of the low class behavior that comes from Hinchman Real Estate. I needed a house with a fenced in yard and more room than I thought I needed. Craig had such a listing and I bought. No problems and all went well. That was 10 years ago. They did a great job! – We recently purchased a foreclosure through Hinchman and they did a great job. Lynae navigated us through the process and managed to handle what seemed to be a mountain of governmental red tape (Fannie Mae; need I say more?) We managed to close in 30 days and I know it was due in large part to Lynae's diligence. Great experience! – I just closed on a rental property purchase. Lynea knows her stuff and fought for me. As a first timer, I did not know a Realtor, had interviewed several, but a friend recommed Hinchman Real Estate to me. That they have been in the business a long time and know their stuff is what I was told. Boy was my friend right. With the property tax issues in La Porte County, she fought and got me the goods. I learned so much and plan to use her excusively in the future.

They deserve negative stars – From the moment we began looking at the house until closing day, everytime we had to deal with these people we dreaded it. Lynea Hinchman is extremely unprofessional, rude, and gives her unwanted opinion freely. UNPROFESSIONAL – This real estate agency is the absolute worst agency in the United States. Lynae Hinchman is a ruthless, coldhearted woman who speaks to everyone as if they are well beneath her in status, aptitude, and class. The fact of the matter is, that her complete disregard for the wishes of the buyer and seller cause a constant turmoil during the entire closing process. Retirement or another profession should be recommended to this agent. Maybe a class in how to be a nice person would go a long way.

Terrible Experience-Do Not Recommend – These people DO NOT know how to conduct proper business and are a nightmare to work with. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst of enemies. STAY AWAY from Hinchman Real Estate.
