Stayed here for a National meeting for a government group. Restaurant is way over priced, but food was good, they have a creative chef. Dining room service is notoriously slow, took 10 minutes for someone to even offer to get coffee at breakfast and we were the only ones there. Choose Starbucks if you want a quick meal. Room was nice, a little slow on service, but done efficiently when she did get here. Refrigerator and coffee pot, but no microwave.Valet parking only which stinks. For the price of the room I've seen much better and the beds were uncomfortable. We traveled for 3 hours to stay here for a concert at the Amalie. Check in is suppose to be at 3. We arrived at 4 and they told us the room wouldn't be ready for at least another hour. At 5 I went to the desk to inquire about our room. Still not ready. Explained to them we had to leave by 6 to go to the concert and needed our room to get ready. Finally got a room at 5:30 after complaining again. I'll never stay here again.
Room smelled like smoke no option for a new room.
Frances was the on site coordinator for a Wedding I planned this past weekend! She was so helpful and delightful to work with- together our event was amazing!! Love it when I find someone who truly enjoys their job and is in the details!!! Also, as a whole the staff here is wonderful! Everyone seems to be thoughtful and customer service ready!!
