If you’re looking for a hotel in downtown Chattanooga, avoid the Embassy Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Downtown. Our experience was awful from start to finish. We arrived at 4:30 p.m. to check in, only to be told that no rooms were available, despite a line of families also waiting for rooms that wouldn’t be ready until 8:30 p.m. or later. We waited two hours and finally had to call the front desk just to get any response. The staff begrudgingly gave us a different room at 6:30 p.m., which was not an upgraded suite in any way... read more

Great location. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. Unfortunately, it's the last year available, but we went to a baseball game just by walking across the parking lot. Hotel amenities we're great. We skipped the breakfast but only because it was a 5-10 min walk to any breakfast option we wanted.

A great hotel conveniently located to all the downtown Chattanooga attractions. We loved being able to walk to the aquarium, discovery center, and rock climbing building. The restaurants are easily in walking distance. The pool at the hotel was a top hit with the grandchild. I would definitely stay there again. One of the best things was that every person, that we encountered, working at the hotel was nice and very helpful.
