My boyfriend and I had to have an unplanned stay in Austin for the night. We booked a room last minute at 7pm. Usually our experiences with hotels aren't the best, but this stay was quite pleasant and enjoyable. The check in was fast, the room was super clean, modern and inviting. The location is good. The rooms are generally nice. The new attribute based pricing model is horse poop and after coming here for years they’re suddenly trying to charge up to 100$ a night extra for the exact same room block I stayed in as a corporate business traveler for years and nickel and dime consumers. They refuse to renovate their bathrooms and have only done so on the 24-26 floors to try to market them. Stayed here with my fiancé for a quick little getaway and we enjoyed ourselves! The amenities are awesome, fitness classes, a giant gym and locker room. The hot tub was really nice and the entire pool area has amazing rooftop vibes with awesome views of the city. The hotel could use some minor cosmetic touch ups but overall it’s a great facility and such a convenient location!

While the rooms are nice, the location is extraordinarily noisy due to construction and downtown. The elevators are incredibly slow, so leave in plenty of time to get to your conference. Please be aware that all bedding contains down unless you ask for it to be replaced. The employees are very nice and adept. It is easy to walk to a lot of places from this hotel.
