RecommendedGreat view from the patio on the 2nd floor. The fish & chips was some of the best that we have ever had. The mushroom pot pie was also scrumptious. We enjoyed some kind of alcohol free festive drinks that were extremely refreshing. We left with a wonderful enjoyment. Thanks Hilo Bay Cafe!!!

Yum! is the sound most often expressed when dining at Hilo Bay Cafe. Lunch or dinner, light snack or full meal with dessert, everything tastes so very good. Presentation is top notch. Servers rank high on the professional and friendly scale. Photos are from several visits so, yes, this is a place to visit more than once.
Food was very good ,nice clean restaurant,our waitress was friendly,though I found that they seemed to need a little more staff for the lunch hour rush. But staff on hand did an excellent job.
My favorite special occasion place in Hilo. Always excellent!
