My front tires were leaking air and I was having to fill them EVERY DAY. Super annoying. Thought I was going to have to buy a full set of tires, but the Johnston location repaired them for under $60. And they were friendly. I'll be back when I actually DO need a full set of new tires.

We had a blow out on the way to take our horse to surgery at ISU. We were stressed to say the least. Chris Greif, a service writer, went out of his way to take care of us and get us back on the road. Knowing there was a full shop, he got out hand tools and headed out to the parking lot. This in itself is amazing. Most service writers I know would never touch a wrench. Not Chris! I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else! Incredible service, friendly staff and easy on the wallet. In most cases, my vehicles are repaired same day. I'm retired and don't care to spend my money on new vehicles. The Hilltop staff always seems to find the parts needed to patch up my old car and truck. I always know what a repair will cost before a wrench comes out of the tool box!

This is by far the best place I have been for car service. Everyone I spoke to was so friendly and never made me feel stupid. As a woman who has very little knowledge about cars, finding great people that won't talk down to me has unfortunately been a struggle. I stopped in around lunch time on a Friday without an appointment. They found me a matching set of 4 tires and I was on my way home in less than an hour!

As a women, I feel comfortable here! I think the stigma is still out there to have the guy in your life make sure to figure out the best place to go for all things with your vehicle. Joe was great! He didn't care I couldn't pass a quiz on my tire size, he knew what I wanted/needed, gave me my choices and put what I wanted on my car. The tires perform great! Only wish he would of up sold me to Nitrogen filled as I didn't have time to wait longer to refill them. I have been coming here for years and tried to go some place loca... read more

Hilltop has been great to work with. The just recently added a 3rd metro location as well.
Put a new suspension on my car and took it to hilltop to get it aligned, nothing out of the ordinary but about 2 months later now I went to change my brake pads and couldn't even get my wheels off with an impact. Had to get a breaker bar and a pipe to get my lug nuts loose on a car that should have been torqued to less than 75 ft lbs. The service is good just couldn't believe they dropped the ball on the easiest part of the job...now hopefully he didn't stretch my threads.
