RecommendedI just had to put my 13 year old dog down today and I can say enough great things about this place. The vet and vet tech were amazing. They sat by our side and rubbed him and talked to him through the whole thing. He’s in a better place and Hillside will forever have my loyalty.
I’ve been going to Hillaide for 9 years and ever since Dr Detora retired they have not been what they used to be, I took my dog in for tests and was waiting for a call back from the vet only to get a call back from their admin and the vet ( Dr Connolly) is telling her what to say in the background when I asked questions. RecommendedHillside vet in Auburn has the best staff and veterinarians. They are so caring and compassionate. After taking my dog there for 12 years I would never go anywhere else!!
.. At my cats last appointment, I was told that he would need regular nail clipping at $15.26. Today I was charged $26.26?? For a (Clip job) that took virtually ten minutes. And when I called to question it I was told that it is their standard fee for JUST WALKING IN THE DOOR!!? - and that it's not just me, everyone gets it!! Ask them before you go there because it's not disclosed anywhere inside or on there website. Beware.
After driving an hour to the practice we were told that they incorrectly booked the apt with the vet tech, when our cat was supposed to see the vet. We were asked to come back the following day. They would not do the bloodwork, and would only do so if we came back the following day for another apt. I understand mistakes happen, but the tone and lack of care from the practice was very evident.
