So far, the worst experience my family has gone through. We have been seeking help for out family member off-and-on for a little over a year. Hillside sounded promising and we felt hopeful. Our granddaughter was in the Outpatient DBT Program for 6 weeks. She has numerous emotional problems-PTSD, Borderline Personality,ADHD, depression, suicidal tendencies and anxiety. Life has been difficult for her but this place has helped her so much! She totally loved the program and feels like she can manage her problems so much better. Life is worth living now! Hillside is the worst thing that has ever happened to me, I discharged a year ago. I've been through a lot of trauma and suicide attempts, and been to 3 other residential treatment facilities, all of which were better than Hillside. I had nightmares about Hillside for months, I was emotionally and mentally abused while there. The staff were for the most part heartless and mean. My therapist was cruel. I hated my time there, would not recommend. Food horrible, staff cruel, activities boring and degrading.
