RecommendedBeen a fan of this place for five years. Best absinthe and soda in Austin. Great ambiance, service and food.
Lunch was excellent and the hibiscus lemonade was refreshing!
We shared the crab cakes, the burger (messy style) & malt fries, Seafood primavera & root vegetables. Our waitress recommends dipping the fries & root vegetables in their aoili & it was delicious! The burger was juicy & flavorful and the seafood pasta was bursting with citrus & a touch of red pepper. Everything was very good. We finished with a Cortado & the creme brûlée! Yum!
The aesthetic and vibe of the place was amazing, however service was not. Only had a table of five and took about 40 mins just to get our food. I know it was a busy Sunday morning but the service suffered a bit. Was also told when we needed our checks they normally don’t split them when the party is over four but they would do it just this once. Definitely something we should have been informed when we were seated. Will return though because the food was great and everyone deserves a second chance. �

very nice place. Casual, reasonable and varied menu in a restored pharmacy. Everything was delicious. Beautiful fixtures, flooring, bar and cabinetry.
