We were on the road from western North Carolina to the east coast and happened to spend the night in Hillsborough. Stumbled on this great, authentic bbq joint. First of all, let me say I know a lot about banana pudding and had a mother who was renowned for hers, but this place does it better. Unbelievable. Great chopped bbq, Brunswick stew was out of bounds, the slaw was wonderful, and the catfish bites truly yummy. My only slightly negative comment would be that the brisket was a little dry. Local BBQ place. Off the beaten path but worth it. Authentic Q with a generous portion of puppies. Great sides.
