She is the only Rheumatologist in Santa Fe and she does not take Medicaid, which puts an unfair burden on UNM. Currently the wait for UNM Rheumatology is 1 year. Patients must suffer for an entire year because Dr. Norton feels she wouldn't make a large enough profit from serving disabled populations. What happened to "First do no harm"? I guess it doesn't count if the paycheck isn't big enough.
Horrible. All you get when we call the office is a lengthy machine. No real person to talk to or schedule with n a call back a long time after u leave a message. The scheduler named Cindy is rude and acts like she does not want you seen there and doesn't want to help you. No compassion for patients what so ever.
