Oh my! A friend and I went to the sneak preview party at HCW this afternoon and what a party it was! Champagne and yarn...it hardly gets better for me! The new shop is bright, light and beautiful! And yes, parking - yippee to that! To Suzanne and the entire staff, job well done (although I know you aren't done yet) and I will make a point to regularly stop in to see what's new! My very best wishes.

So much yarn, sooo little time. Now that you're moving my visits will be more frequent.

I am so proud of your award. Well deserved. I drive all the way from Houston to shop here (along with quite a few other Knitters). Good yarn, good prices and good people. If you EVER expand, please come to Houston. I can't wait to see the new home you are moving into.

I had the chance to visit HCW while visiting Austin. I walked from downtown on a 95 degree day. Silly of me, I know. When I walked into the shop I was greeted with a warm welcome and a glass of cold water soon after. Yarn and inspiration was abundant. I had a lovely chat with a kind woman as she stocked the new Madeline Tosh. She also took the time to discuss samples and show me local patterns. And, since I work at my lys, we did a little shop talk. If I lived here, this would be my home shop.
