I happened upon HCW while visiting Austin last weekend. Reminded me of my local yarn shop, Yarn on Youree. Everyone was warm and welcoming so, accompanied by my service dog, I sat and knitted for an hour or so. Highly recommend Hill Country Weavers!
The selection is great and the women there are really helpful! Very impressed and will be going back whenever I'm in town that's for sure!

Have shopped at HCW since moving to Austin 10 yrs ago. Have always loved their selection of yarn, patterns, needles, notions and classes- thought there was no way they could get any better.... THEN went to their sneak peek at the new location ... almost started crying upon entering the new HCW ! Modern, bright, spacious and has a very artsy vibe!! Ladies, you've hit the Motherlode of knitting and taken HCW to a whole new dimension!!! Now, about getting a job there...
