I got there about 15 minutes early and after about 30 minutes it was decided to cancel the visit because an emergency came up with another patient. They had no idea how long it would take. I understand things like that happen.

While sitting in the chair having work done on my teeth, I always get cold. I wear heavier clothing anticipating this, but when I have to be still for long periods of time and under some stress, I would appreciate a light fleece blanket thrown over me.

Arlene was not concerned with my needing to call insurance to verify what my responsibility was to Hill Country Dental. She just wanted payment and was very pushy. After I contacted insurance, it was explained that the wrong coding on the first 2 cleanings in 2014 had pushed $50 deductible into the Oct Cleaning which was coded correctly. I needed to understand this from the ins carrier. I also know that Hill Country Dental absorbed a $77 charge for the wrong coding.
