I'm 66 years old I spent over 3 months trying to get appt with Dr Hilgenhurst was told he was legit I had been under pain management with same doctor in W V for 5 years. I have had 2 back surgeries resulting from driving truck 30 yr still constant pain. I was told to have my records sent to DR H so I did so I could transfer here. I was denied care by DR H no explanation shows how much he cares about us old folks suffering dont bother.i have to care for mother no time to Dr Shop what now????????
If you are looking for a pain management Dr that will listen to your concerns, and try to find the best route to go with pain relief, DO NOT go to Dr Hilgenhurst or ANY NP in either of his offices. I have been seen in both offices and was treated horribly, and left the office in tears. He all but yelled at me because I didn't want steroid injections because I also have heart issues. When I asked about pain relief I was told he didn't have a magic wand to get rid of pain. DO NOT GO THERE!!
