My first, my initial evaluation with the staff of Dr. Homebuyers, could Not have been Better! 1. His staff - - all I had contact with were friendly, helpful, ans knowledgeable. 2. His PA who met with me was kind, sympathetic, but very experienced and intelligent. ' Ms T ' provided an expert evaluation of my condition. She organized the perfect follow-up care necessary. I have a great respect for her skill/experience. 3. My experience was 5-Stars x 2! WBR - Lynchburg, TN

During a spinal block of some sort he didn't put me under an took the biggest needle he could use an hammered it through the disc in my lumbar causin a disc to rupture an nerve pain. I'm still sufferin pain today an getting ready to have spinal surgery over his damage. I never saw him in the pain clinic, only they nurses or PA's who really didn't want to hear what type of pain I was living daily. Worst clinic i've ever been to.

I was first sent to Dr. H after a failed back fusion surgery nine years ago. I have total trust and faith in him. He listens and cares about his patient's well being. I have been through multiple surgeries (8) from my neck to my lower back and he has helped me to recover. Dr. H and staff are a major part of my medical team which I rely upon. Yes, quite often he runs late, but that is because he does not have a set amount of time that he allocates for each person he sees. He listens and cares.

I have been seeing him for about 4-5 years. . He does not even examine his patients. He doesn't make eye contact. He just maybe asks a few questions and types away on his computer so its not really attentive care.. Their staff are all EXTREMELY rude! The are ALWAYS late. I never get seen within an hour of my appointment time. They cannot be trusted to bill insurance correctly or handle medication orders. Casey is by far the nastiest person on the staff. And they dont care. DO NOT GO HERE!!

I was discharged for a inconsistent urine screen which was not done. I am 59 and on medicare. I think the world of Ms. Paula Thompson the N. P. and she is very through. No problem with the office staff except for the mistake of discharging me without even listening to me.

I'm 66 years old I spent over 3 months trying to get appt with Dr Hilgenhurst was told he was legit I had been under pain management with same doctor in W V for 5 years. I have had 2 back surgeries resulting from driving truck 30 yr still constant pain. I was told to have my records sent to DR H so I did so I could transfer here. I was denied care by DR H no explanation shows how much he cares about us old folks suffering dont bother.i have to care for mother no time to Dr Shop what now????????

If you are looking for a pain management Dr that will listen to your concerns, and try to find the best route to go with pain relief, DO NOT go to Dr Hilgenhurst or ANY NP in either of his offices. I have been seen in both offices and was treated horribly, and left the office in tears. He all but yelled at me because I didn't want steroid injections because I also have heart issues. When I asked about pain relief I was told he didn't have a magic wand to get rid of pain. DO NOT GO THERE!!
