Hilderbrand Jewelers fixed two watches that another watch repair business told me (without even opening up the watches) would cost $150 or upwards to repair. I was shocked and very disappointed as the watches weren't even valued at that yet one of the watches had tremendous sentimental value. Destroyed my wedding band by infecting it with some random stones I didn't ask for. I tried to explain that it was extremely important only the family heirloom stones were used. Instead of telling me they couldn't do it they just shoved some other random stones in the ring without calling first. Then I tried to explain the importance when they told me what they did when I picked it up and he would not listen to me. Kept talking over me. The best. I took my wife’s rings here to be soldered together, and honestly at first I didn’t love the result (two very thin bands and one of them is curved, admittedly I know it’s very hard to line up the diamond engagement ring with the curved wedding band perfectly centered). Their jeweler took my critique super well and offered to fix it at no extra charge it was ready the next morning. A few weeks after the wedding my wedding band was bothering me.
