I had my brother buy me a dozen doughnuts Saturday so my niece could pick them up Sunday on her way through Des Moines with a final destination of St. Paul, Minnesota. It had been five years since I last enjoyed these doughnuts, but even day-old ones were delicious enough to remind me how much I missed this amazing little bakery. 25 years after eating my first white frosted nutty roll, and I'm still in love.
Best dutch letters anywhere. Even better than the ones from the Pella bakeries. Hamburger buns are the best.
