I had high expectations for Highmark — they’re all over our neighborhood, so I assumed they’d be reliable. We had an insurance claim and reached out to them for an estimate. Our insurance company wanted a baseline quote, so they brought in Sedgwick… and it just so happened Highmark was the contractor Sedgwick assigned. That’s when things got strange. Very happy with our remodel. From start to finish, Highmark was extremely thorough and accommodating. Timeline and budget were transparent throughout the entire process and their attention to detail is incredible!! Would highly recommend!
Horrible builder that I wish I could give less than 1 star. DO NOT BUILD with them. Countless shortcuts and issues plaguing the house from day 1. They do not follow through on their promises and drag out every issue to hope you give up. If you build with them, you better know a good lawyer and be ready to go after them to try to get them to complete their work and make a functional house. We completed a kitchen renovation with Highmark. We are pleased with the quality and design of our project, but we were most impressed by the Highmark team's utmost professionalism, transparency and communication, and problem-solving through the renovation - particularly given the unique construction of our 1946 home. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to renovate their space.
