Florida residents out of town in emergency room. EXCELLENT service, care and kindness. Super-clean facility. Made a scary accident bearable. We felt so much better by the time we left. Our nurse was fantastic and explained everything. Care was superb all around. Thank you!
As the weekend approaches I feel blessed! We had a scare with my dad ending up in the hospital not a day or two but many. He received the best care at HCH and he’s home. He’s still very week. I never would have predicted pneumonia to be so damaging to the body. My mom has had pneumonia before which she’s battled and had life long problems from but this was something we had never expected. The ER is great. I was moved into the hospital the nurses and doctors are very professional and attentive and caring. My only complaint is I was there 4 days not one day was my room cleaned they were no towels or soap to take a shower my bedding wasn’t even straightened. Let alone changed. Every hospital I’ve ever been in and there have been plenty they swiffer the floors and the other things above. I haven’t even seen house keeping. Over Christmas vacation I fell ice skating and broke my elbow and thumb. From the moment I walked into the Hospital everyone I saw or interacted with was kind and friendly and helpful. From the front desk, to the CNA, the ER Nurse, and Dr. John Worthington, (who correctly diagnosed everything and which was later verified by the hand surgeon in Atlanta), I couldn’t have hurt myself in a better place than near this Hospital.
My grandson slipped and needed stitches from a fall on a local waterfall. Very impressed with all the staff. In and out in 2 hours!!
