Pastries are great!! The beans/roast is too smokey for my liking. Otherwise friendly staff and awesome atmosphere. Deff a favorite with my friends and i. UPDATE coffee beans hav deff improved!! Hit them up!
Just visiting Freeport. So glad we stopped. Friendly, clean, comfortable and delicious coffee.
Assuming this was an off the beaten path swanky indi java shop for out of town coffee snob, we were not so impressed. The barista had no clue what a pour over was. They failed to have any roast lighter than a dark medium. The espresso machine lacks a quality pull, needing a good calibration. The roast/beans tastes burnt, and not much better in quality than freeze dried. I suppose if you're passing thru town in need of joe, it'll do. But, if quality is what you desire, keep driving....
