I was referred to HIROC around 30 weeks pregnant after showing signs of preeclampsia. My OB wasn’t able to officially diagnose me due to some inconsistencies in how it was presenting, and after a couple weeks of being labeled high risk, I started to feel really dissatisfied—and frankly, unsafe—with the care I was receiving. So I was relieved to take the referral to Dr. Visconti, a high-risk MFM specialist. From my very first visit, Dr. Visconti and his team were outstanding. I felt seen and heard—something that was deeply im... read more

I was first sent to see Dr. Visconti after my 20 weeks anatomy scan due to my baby measuring very small. Dr. Visconti sat down with me for however long I needed, never rushed me, and answered every question we had. He literally pulled up every ultrasound picture and explained it to me. We went over every possible scenario together. He caught a possible heart defect and got me in quickly with an awesome local pediatric cardiologist. He is patient and knowledgeable. His bedside manner is top tier. I felt very taken care of by ... read more

My daughter is currently a patient. Providers do not introduce themselves. Ignore patient concerns and questions. If you call with questions, the answer is always, go to the labor and delivery to get checked out.... well that's not appropriate use of resources if it's something simple like a bladder infection... too much to list on here of screw ups...

I came with my 16 year old daughter & her baby's father for her appointment. Obviously this is an appointment for issues that cause the pregnancy to be at high risk for issues. I was told by the VERY hateful receptionist that I couldn't go back with her or even be in the waiting area!!!! My problem is that my 16 YEAR OLD may not be able to understand what is being told her by the doctor & she has a great deal of anxiety on top of that. This place SUCKS!!!!

Today was supposed to be my 3rd visit.. I had an appt & I waited for 1.5 hours before I got up to ask how much longer cause I had another appointment in the next 30 mins to go to. I understand things happen and you get behind.. but I work in a healthcare facility myself and this shouldn’t happen. If they are behind, be kind enough to call the patient and make them aware because I took work off to only wait 1.5 hours to not be see. The front was really nice and apologized which I appreciated.
