I would never recommend bringing any wildlife much less exotics or pets to this hospital. It's absolutely DISGUSTING, they took in a wildlife patient they said they would care for. What did they do? they let him sit for over 6 HOURS, seizuring from POISON! Did they give him any medicine? Any pain medicine? No. They put him on oxygen and left him. For SIX HOURS. They told the wildlife rehabbers that he was doing better!! Only to be picked up with blood coming from all of his body orifices', still in constant seizures. I doubt... read more

Really wanna say an extra special thank you for saving our dog polar! In 2020 we lost two elder dogs that I had longer than my kids and polar was born and caught Parvo out of no where but thanks to this loving caring staff of high country veterinary he was saved. We are so proud he was saved, our miracle baby. A name we like to call him is “Polar Miracle Sanchez”. Thank you!!

These people have been incredibly kind to us since day 1. My poor rat, Dobby, went in for a mass removal and didn't make it due to complications. They were patient, honest and very caring. They helped assist with the cremation services and we just received a sympathy card from all of the workers there. They've made this terrible loss just a little easier for us. Thank you to everyone working there for what you do and all the kindness you've given us.

I went with my daughter today to put down her cat. We were treated with such compassion and love. I was so impressed that I believe I'm going to be transferring my animals to their care.

My cat is 18 and showing signs of dementia, made appt to see if we could clean his teeth. Got there, sign says call, call but you can't go in. No one told me they were doing curbside b's. They wanted to take my baby while I sit outside and wait. First of all I need to tell you and show you what has been going on with Spirit. Since Deb sold this place these people could care less. Would not work with me and I have been going here over 20 yrs. Checked and of course there is nothing on there website about there curbside crap an... read more

I was brought two baby squirrels, so small they could fit in the cup of your hand. One, the little boy, was non responsive and seizing constantly. They had been exposed to cedar bedding, which is extremely toxic to small mammals. They had eaten it, because they are squirrels. I took them to my vet minutes after they arrived. Dr Bohec at High Country Vet Hospital did not believe cedar could be toxic and had to do her own research. She put them on oxygen. They were emaciated and dehydrated from being underfed for 10 days by th... read more

Dr. Moses was amazing. She took such good care of Mason and kept me briefed throughout since I couldn't be with him. We will definitely recommend!
