RecommendedWe eat at High Cotton every time we visit the Outer Banks. Not only have we always been happy with the delicious food, but the customer service is fantastic. We placed a large take out order and upon arriving back at our rental noticed an item was missing. The person who took our call was polite and extremely helpful and more than surpassed our expectations for handing the missing item. Thanks for another good experience and we look forward to visiting again the next time we are in town.
First time eating at High Cotton for lunch today, it was very good! Service was friendly and prompt. Definitely will be back!

the brisket is fantastic. the fried chicken we all love. I dont think we have ever eaten anything we didn't love.
service is beyond great. food is phenomenal. fried chicken is my favorite. ribs, pulled pork and potato salad are phenomenal to say the least. this is an absolute must stop when in obx. you will not be disappointed!!!
If u r anywhere near this place u have to eat here. It is a must. Wife said Brunswick stew tasted like her grandmas and my daughter who is a pretty picky eater like myself and we both fell in love with their ribs. Staff is amazing as well and prices very affordable. U will not regret coming here. Great great place.
My best friend and I stopped here on our way back home after a quick girls trip to Kitty Hawk. I got the smoked chicken plate with potato salad and coleslaw..outstanding!! I will definitely stop here on my next trip to Kitty Hawk..which will be in a few months considering I live a short distance away in Virginia Beach😁😁
