Replacing my refrigerator They act fast to fixing my refrigerator.
disappointing the rent is cheap but the amenities promised to the residents are rarely in service, and it doesn't end there. I moved in two years ago and the fitness center's weight machine has been broken the entire time despite in that time a large tv being put in for the maintenance lady to watch on her break. the pool was unable to be used for nearly 4 months with no plans to fix it, there are people in the building who leave trash in the hallways, or close the fire doors and let their children run rampant through the ha... read more
Cheap rent, smells terrible The rent for this apartment is relatively cheap, but the hallways always smell like weed or really stinky food. When you decide to move out, they tell you in the beginning that they’ll give you 24 hours notice to show your apartment, but they don’t. And when you ask them to give you such notice, they refuse to do so. Overall it’s a cheap, but terrible place to live.
Would not recommend 1 of 2 This was the only place we could find to live in Northfield at the time, so we really had no choice in choosing here. Here are some of the reasons I disliked living at the Hidden Valley Apartments. -The staff will make an issue you have seem like it is no big deal and then end up charging you loads of money for it. So, what they're really saying is that it's no big deal as long as you have a few hundred dollars to spare. -The showers are horrible. The bathrooms are not updated so I didn't expect th... read more
long time tennent I lived here for many years. Only moved because I got married and combined families so bigger space was needed. It was a great experience. I was unsure about apartment living after having a house for several years. But the people who work there made me very comfortable. I made many friends and it was an awesome location. My kids loved it too.
Business response:
Thank you! I'm so glad we could be a nice home for you and your family. Congratulations on your marriage!
Wonderful location, staff and apartment! I've lived at Lake Harriet Commons for many years and I love it. The staff are super friendly and professional. The maintenance guy always remembers a treat for my dog and the manager couple is awesome. My apartment is cute and has so many closets. I can walk to either lake and to so many great places to eat and shop. There's a lot of green space and a parking lot that I appreciate in the winter. Nothing not to love about living here!
Wonderful apartment! I lived at Lake Harriet Commons for several years. The apartments are very nice, clean, and tons of closet space. You cannot beat the location, especially at that price, an easy walk to Lake Harriet and there are a few city parks within blocks of the apartment buildings. The management was wonderful, they are friendly and took care of any problems that came up promptly. If I ever move back to Minneapolis, I wouldn't live anywhere else!
HORRIBLE ! This is the absolute worst management I have ever experienced. They gave completely false advertisement. The entire place was dirty upon moving in. Nothing was even dusted, there was paint still on the walls from the previous renter, and it smelt like wet dog. The closest smelt like cigarette smoke in a nonsmoking apartment. The pipes in the stove had holes in them which caused a dangerous gas leak in our apartment. Needless to say it was also completely dirty underneath the stove with caked grease. Our fridge was ... read more
Meh..... The staff are outstanding, very polite and helpful. The apartment however leaves a lot to be desired. There are less than professional renovations such as linoleum floors that feel gooey and soft like there is too much glue that hasn't dried so pressure leaves temporary indentures in the floor. It is a pet friendly building that allows dog's and cats with a fair deposit and monthly fee. We had our balconies painted a while back and it looks good from a distance but if you're on one of them you can see all the drople... read more
