Well, first off, the apartments are SMALL. Secondly, you cant use (or even have in your posession) an outdoor grill. Thirdly, it will cost you \$400.00 per pet (limit of 2). Unfortunately, it is not easy to find clean apartments for decent prices in this area since Katrine blew through, so you might have to settle for less than you really want.

I lived there only for 2 months but that was enough to remember Hidden Oaks Appartments as a very clean place, with fireplace, big dining room and gorgeous balcony with a swimming pool view. I will always miss that part of my life.
I moved here in 2005 because I needed a bigger place and it seemed quiet and clean. The first year was fine pretty much until after Hurricane Katrina. Sometimes you do have to bug the office to complete maintenance requests. I live on the bottom floor and someone moved above me with little kids who never slept and the family were heavy walkers. The leasing office believes any and all rumors and will hound you to death if you have kids. They make repeated unfounded accusations based on supposed complaints from other residents... read more
