Wonderful Service, clean inviting atmosphere and delicious food... Will be back!!!
Four of us sat down at 10:50 for breakfast today - Sunday morning. The server didn't come over for ten minutes because clearly his section was over sat. He took our drink order and came back to other tables around us several times before he let us know they had run out of coffee, and that more was being brewed. We got our coffee and placed our order around 11:10. We sat around until about 11:35 and the server saw us watching the larger table near us getting their food and he let us know we would be next. Very disappointed in the Tea. Menu and service, Was not as anticipated as in the past. Clotted cream was not fresh. For a special afternoon, not what I had hoped. Price listed on web site is inaccurate, from what was charged.
Definitely not the tea I am used to from Hicks and McCarthy. Scones, cake and tart were not good and sandwiches not up to par and unfortunately we were overcharged from the price on the website. Such a shame.
Food is great but service needs to be improved on.
Very disappointing lunch with a friend 2 weeks ago. The menu is your placemat! Really! Not the restaurant it was!!
