Best shrimp n grits around! Made a special stop heading back to SC just to have them. :) wait staff was very pleasant
I haven't been but the reviews say enough! The food look yummy but one thing that an turn me against going to an establishment is bad reviews.

They all Suck!!! Horrible service in every aspect..... Seriously I am a regular bar guest its close to my house to stop and get a "Beer" on my way home and that's it! I do not oder food because you never get it or you have to ask for it!!! So aggravating...Management seems totally ok with how they lead there staff, My daughter and i went for burgers we didn't get refills or any of the such, long story short we couldn't find our waiter nor could any of the other staff, we needed our check , 30 MINUTES BEFORE HE WAS FOUND! The food is amazing!!!! Service was good! And prices were relatively cheap for what you got!!! All in all it's my go to local place!!!!! Screw them fast food places!! Hickory tavern has amazing food for an relatively expected price, and has good service!!
My friends and l went last night to have an early celebration for my birthday. Our waiter was extremely attentive to our needs and very personable. The fresh soft pretzels with honey mustard and queso dips was amazing. We all enjoyed the Build Your Own Salad as our entree. I was disappointed they no longer offered the citrus vinaigrette as it was a favorite. I enjoyed the apple cider vinaigrette as a second option. We had a great experience.

Took to long to get food I got crab legs all you can eat but I didn't have all night to stay there I won't go back and they wasn't a lot of people there
