Things are very confusing at Hickory Shores at the moment. Has Carlyle Lake turned Hickory Shores, Mariner's Village, etc., into a consortium, or is it still owned by the same people? I called, and Ralph seems to still be in charge, and he said he still owns it. Can we rent the bigger cabins by the weekend? Ralph said that's never changed. However, he wasn't very forthcoming with other information.
Dirty, Dirty, Dirty
Hadn't been here in 20 years... but my folks used to bring my kids all the time I warned Ralph that I was a first timer pulling (and backing) a camping trailer. He offered to back it in for me, but I told him "I have to learn sometime", so he guided me in perfectly, first try. Thank you Ralph Rakers. I'll be back.
We love it so much we live here!!!!
