Our youth group has stopped at Hickory River Smokehouse twice on our return trip from Tennessee. Each time the food has been out-of-this-world delicious. It's always fresh and tasty. The restaurant has a great atmosphere to it and the staff are always happy to assist you.

Very good BBQ every time I stop here......very tasty indeed....haven't had a bad experience and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys good BBQ

The ONLY thing not giving this place the final star, is that there are only 2 (well three if you mix them) sauce choices. I find both to be great sauces, as does my husband. We have brought visitors here, and had our own children also request a sweet sauce. Everyone makes do, and enjoys it none-the-less.

We frequently pass by and have never had a chance to stop in, I wish I could still say that. I spent over $50.00 on food that bland, cold, and not appetizing. The mild BBQ sauce was sour, the green beans were bland, and the mac and cheese tasted old.
