First time going there and getting served was quick and the food was really good but no service at the tables was not to my liking. We didn't know what to do with our trays so I waited awhile while the cashier was tending to other customers to ask her what to do with the trays when a younger guy from the back saw me and asked what I needed. I explained I didn't know what to do with the trays and he pointed to a cart and said put them there. it was my first time at hickory river and all the folks that told me to try were not wrong. Brisket was great and the spicy mixed sauce had really good flavor. I chose green beans and cole slaw the vinager type I will add and I really enjoyed them both. I think the girl setting up trays and taking your order could be a little more nice and a little less move em down the line. The cashier was really sweet and saved it when we cashed out.
