We took my mom there for her birthday dinner last evening. The food is normally very good, but last night, was very disappointing. I ordered the fish n chips. Well, I might as well have gone to the grocery store to buy a Mrs. Paul filet, obviously boxed fish and not hand breaded, plus french fries were cold. But, not all was bad, ham and green beans were wonderful, biscuits were hot and apple butter good too. Also, a very good waiter.

Excellent food and service! This is still the Hickory Ridge we’ve loved since day 1. The waiter was stellar, I believe his name was Zack (probably spelled wrong). He was so attentive to his tables and took that extra time to interact with my kids (that’s always a win for me). Food was the good ‘ol “stick to your ribs” country food; full of flavor and big portions!
Very disappointed Sat. The turkey was extremely dry and food served cold. The service was very slow which may have been why food was dry snd cold. Probably sat in the back. Took us forever to get our food served Never experienced this before but not planning to go back🙁
Normally love coming here. Tonight very disappointed. No biscuits offered and food took forever to come. Portion size seems a lot smaller this time also. If this had been my first visit, it would be my last.

To the young couple with the 3 children that paid for our dinner tonight that was very thoughtful and we appreciate it. To the owner thank you for stepping in when needed to get some unruly patrons out the door. We will be back, Dan and Cindy
Today was my first time at HR Restaurant and WON'T be my last. My kids and I ordered off their all day breakfast menu and the food was really tasty. The prices were great too (a plus for a mom on a budget). Try the apple butter and biscuits 😋
