I don't usually write things like this, but I believe that acknowledgments should be given where they are due. I suffer from terrible anxiety and I had a Standard OB appointment this morning. I had to also bring my 5 year old with me, which between trying to focus on staying calm AND answering 10,000 questions from a 5 year old can be pretty nerve wracking!! I love this practice and all the women associated with it. 💜 I received amazing care during my pregnancy, delivery and post partum care.
I had my second baby, Owen Gregory with Hibiscus Womens Care in February of 2016, and I could not be happier. With the help of my amazing midwife Elizabeth and my doula Lisa, I was able to have an unmedicated hospital birth- a major goal of mine. I was cared for so incredibly skillfully; I would recommend to absolutely anyone.
I have had the pleasure of having both my boys with HWC. The delivery of my first son was absolutely incredible. To be honest, my husband was "a little nervous" about the thought of having a midwife deliver our first born, not understanding why we couldn't just have a Doctor handle the delivery.
