This will be our 5th year here and we cannot wait! Always something fun to do, great food, and a relaxing stay! The kids vote on this as our vacation spot whenever asked!
My wife and I have been coming here since 2011 and have rarely been disappointed. We love the pools and being right on the ocean. And the fact that you can order lunch and a drink right from your lounge chair at poolside. They did a good job on the composite walkway to the ocean and bringing the 2 seat "cabanas" to pool side. Grand feel, quick beach access. Very friendly and accessible staff. I booked 2 rooms online then called the front desk and they were able to move reservations to get me connecting rooms since I was traveling with kids. Also, we arrived early at 10am (check-in is at 4pm) ... they held my luggage, valet my car ($18/day but totally worth it) gave us access to the property and called me when the room was ready! Calm beaches with quick car access to main Myrtle Beach attractions.
Econolodge service at Marriott resort prices. I really feel sorry for the restaurant wait staff. They were short 2 or 3 Thursday 7/13 and the kitchen did them no favors. It took just short of an hour for the kitchen to prepare a chicken wrap and a salad. We just about left. Supposedly one kitchen for all the restaurants on site. Although the restaurant service was slow, it is a nice facility and I would consider going back, but if I ate on site it would only be at off-peak times.

My wife, two young sons and I just returned from a little Fall getaway and chose this lovely place to stay for the first time. We absolutely loved our balcony suite and adjacent room for the boys and the hotel, staff, pools, amenities, restaurants, access to the beach, all of it. The only reason it got 4.5 stars and not 5 was because something as simple as having access to ordering a variety of movie choices for children or adults was non-existent.
