No blackened steak on the menu! Are you kidding me!!! So sad
Wow. *So* disappointed! I was so excited to visit a long-standing tradition in Manhattan. The atmosphere is amazing, and the food choices are great, but the service was detestable. Our waitress was MIA, the wrong meal was brought to the table, and when I the let the front-end manager know (as we couldn’t find our waitress), she said she’d look into it. By the time my boyfriend finished his meal, our waitress returned to ask if we’d like our check…at which time I had to let her know that I was still waiting for my replacement... read more

Very disappointed! Had the Cajun Chef Salad. Nothing Cajun about it. About a tbsp. of blackened chicken, sliced cheese, plus lettuce. Ordered Bleu Cheese dressing. No bleu cheese taste to it. $10 was way too much money for this!
Thoroughly disappointed. My wife and I used to visit the location in Aggieville on Friday once a month and we loved it. We always ordered the John's Spicy Shrimp. It came with a house salad, a baseball-sized pile of rice, a dozen shrimp, and cornbread for $13.99. The new owners have decided you don't need a salad, you don't need cornbread, you only need barely a cup of rice, and only six shrimp but they have increased the price to $15.99. Well done Hibachi Hut. I don't often give reviews, but felt our experience was worth sharing. We were very pleased with our drinks and food tonight during our first visit to your new site downtown. Nice atmosphere, fun decor, friendly staff, reasonable prices and great food! Really enjoyed the Pecan Crusted Red Fish and BBQ Bacon Wrapped Shrimp entrees! Keep it up...we will be back for sure!
