Had the Shrimp Gumbo yesterday. Very disappointing. No depth of flavor. I expected lovely gulf shrimp. Instead my bowl had maybe four of the mini shrimp you buy in a can. Sausage was scant and dull as well. Vegetables were mushy. For a signature dish, it was a poor representation. Something is amiss in the kitchen. And, wait time at a non busy lunch hour was way too long.
The quality of the food is poor. The new owners bought the name, but left the taste in Aggieville. My order was a carry out. One of my favorites was the Shrimp Po Boy. Shrimp very rubbery and on a hot dog bun! REALLY!!! and they forgot to send the Red beans and rice, but I got some crappy, soggy cole slaw. this is the best you can do. Never again
