I’ve been using compounded cream for hormone replacement therapy for many years now. My previous doctors always gave me a prescription and allowed me to choose a pharmacy. I then would pay the pharmacy for my prescription. Herzog doesn’t allow this, they charge you directly in the doctor’s office and then they contact the pharmacy and have them mail you the prescription. Updated: I have switched from this office to a different hormone doctor due to the high cost of prescriptions here. I did not realize how much I was overpaying until I did some cost comparisons. They explained it as the cost of doing business. But some meds were over double the cost they pay the pharmacy for. A great team!
