WARNING: Although I have never rented from this location, I'm making a post as a warning to anyone who does. I have not been able to reach a person although I have called numerous times during what are posted as normal working hours. Their IVR directs me to use their website to book a rental, although I cannot find anything to rent two months from now in the middle of summer. I have tried to bypass their IVR stating that I have a current rental and need support but nobody answers....rings and rings and eventually disconnects... read more

This is BY FAR the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. This office doesn’t open until 10:30 then closes for a TWO HOUR LUNCH. They won’t drop a car off at the airport the night before. They are OBNOXIOUS on the phone. I tried calling Hertz Corporate and was on hold for 10 minutes before giving up. I have been a Hertz Hold member for 40+ years and this is the best they can do?

Being the only car rental place in the area really limits you from walking away. Their operating times and days don't line up with incoming flights. I'm pretty sure there are only one or two incoming flights into Alamosa from Denver. If you land on the 9:20am flight, Hertz doesn't open until 10:30am. If you land on the 10:00pm flight, Hertz will already be closed at 6:30pm. (Oh and they are closed Saturdays and Tuesdays!)
