Go there for mental health...the love they show me..what else can I say...
I was there Friday for a diagnostic procedure and fainted. In seconds, there were at least 10 people checking me, then running other tests, to be sure that I was okay!!! Everyone was awesome �
Simple out patient surgery at the #VA in Huntington WV today. I've had many surgeries and hospital stays over the last 25 years and have never been treated as well as I have by the Huntington VA Medical Center. I switched all my healthcare to the VA system in January this year and was the best healthcare choice I've ever made in my life. Thank you to all those taking care of our veterans. You are truly appreciated.
After 15 years of attending the VA for treatment of both military and personal health issues, I finally decided to find a family practitioner. The VA employees too many non english speaking medical professionals. Communication with your health care professional is paramount to understanding health concerns. There also needs to be continuity. It got to the point that my primary care physician was changing with nearly every visit. It was time to find healthcare elsewhere.
