My friend has suffered so much because of him!! She broke her femur last year and he put wrong hardware in based on the Dr that took his place at UAB because he disappeared! 3 month wait to have it repaired. Hardware collapsed!! Told to stay in bed and take 150mg of oxycodone a day and gave her narcan in case she stops breathing. I called an ambulance because she fell trying to go to restroom. For those who think he up and abandon his patients you’re almost right. RUMOR is (not confirmed) he was fired for malpractice. RUMOR is he was letting resident doctors do surgeries he was supposed to be doing. Not sure if he was in the OR or just not even in the hospital. I do know the day of my surgery I never saw him before or after. I know my knee was not done correctly by his office and fixing to schedule my 8th surgery in a year. Not sure who’s going to do it. If he did your surgery you best investigate it!!!!!!
