RecommendedI had my 4 year old here yesterday and our experience was wonderful. He did great for X-rays and cleaning but then was OVER it and threw a fit when the doctor tried to examine his teeth. They never lost their cool, the assistant and doctor remained patient and got the job done. All of the staff was friendly and made us feel comfortable. I’m so glad we decided to try them out!
My son was scheduled for a dental procedure on December 1st. We woke up at 3am to get ready, and we had SEVERAL inches of snow and ice. The roads were not safe to travel on. I called the surgery center when they opened, and-after getting no answer at the office- sent a text back to the number we were texted from with the arrival time-- explaining the situation and asking to reschedule. Very frustrated. Today I had an appointment scheduled for my 2 year old daughter at 10:15 I got to the office and called to check in around 9:55 (mind you my daughter is already anxious about being in a new environment and this would be her first time at the dentist)and the lady on the phone at that time said she was pulling up my paperwork and will get us called in. RecommendedI, as an adult have anxiety of the dentist and when it came time that my son(20 months old) needed to go that anxiety was doubled. I scheduled an appointment and talked to Susan who immediately put my mind at ease. When we arrived at the office everyone was SUPER nice and welcoming. The office was clean and the covid protocols were great. Dr. Steckler was so patient and made me feel better about some concerns I had. We have been going here for 4 years for our 3 children. One time on our way there I got a flat tire and had to cancel. I was told we couldn’t cancel because it’s same day.... had to explain a flat from a bolt isn’t something that can really be helped. Today I receive a call saying my children are due for a 6 month check up. I was told they were put down as no shows for their last appointment even though I called as soon as I found out we had to cancel the day before. Manager told me they would go by what’s documented even th... read more

RecommendedFirst class team from the time you walk in the door until you leave. I don’t like having cavities filled, but have had the best experience at Chevy Chase, hands down. They are at the top of their game and it shows.
