Love this bakery. Family has been popping in for goodies from here for decades before I was born.

Customer service was horrible I won't buy another cake from here.
I had a cake emergency yesterday. I found out a few hours before my daughter's birthday party that the girl I hired to bake her cake was ill. I drove right over to Herman's and they had a blank half sheet cake in the back. They offered to decorate it any way I wanted. I was so grateful they were able to accommodate my rush requests. I will drive HOURS to go get the strawberry shortcake. And with driving that distance, you also have to get some cream horns, mini eclairs, and mini cram puffs to make it worth while... and if you're that far in, you might as well get some of the raisin bread too... All of which is better than ANYTHING i can get locally. I am glad I was raised around Herman's before moving away. Gives a treat for when I do come back....
