Lovely staff and very welcoming
Place was not full service was terrible.
I am writing this review 8 years after our meal here — because I haven’t stopped thinking about it ever since! My husband and I were on a road trip and hungry for lunch, so we took the nearest exit and landed ourselves at this cafe in this tiny Michigan town. It’s absolutely CHARMING inside and the staff was so kind. Morel mushrooms were in season, so we had their freshly made morel mushroom soup… Oh, how I wish I could have a bowl of it again. It was th best soup of my life!
1st time back in several months & everything was fantastic!! Sean (previously from Dockside) is heading up the kitchen with a new menu worth checking out.
