The buyer in a transaction in which we sold the house selected Heritage Title to close a house sale in which I was the seller. Heritage's staff, without notice or our authorization, entered a ~$6000 payment to a third party (a realtor's vendor). Worse, Heritage refused to remove it, under threat of forcing us to breach the purchase contract--even though, legally, they are supposed to be a neutral third party in the transaction.
