purchased my hearing aids when they were ********* now HearingLife. Went bacj 1 year later, did a hearing test and my gosh my hearing got worse. He suggested I upgrade to a better hearing aid. I spent $5000 how much better can they get. I truly believe it is the same hearing aid whether you choose the $1000 or the $5000.2nd visit he wanted me to have another hearing test, I explained not interested, I am sure the outcome will be more hearing loss. First of all, I don't understand how a business with a *************** Rating of 1.63/5 can have a BBB rating of A +.I have been a patient at **************** Hearing Center for over 2 years. I paid approximately $ 5,000.00 for my ****** hearing aids. I have received varying degrees of service on the hearing aids and there is a general reluctance to do the ******** adjustment which I do *** understand for the life of me. switched hearing aid while a visit for cleaning/working order...put a larger h/a in ear while wired to pc...volume very high...fit hurts my ear...i heard her say..this is bigger and won't fall out of your ear.....i got in contact with her, and she said she would call me...call never came...no response from her...i called her and she insisted the h/a was the one i came in with....would not make a change hung up on me. **** been wearing the h/a for 4 months..cleaned it..changed battery..handled it...i know what i had...the one... read more

I had a hearing checkup and cleaning of my hearing aids by the Audiologist at HearingLife. When I came in, I had NO problems at all with my hearing aids. When I left, my right hearing aid DID NOT work. When I put them in my ear after she cleaned them, I mentioned to her that the right hearing aid did not work. Sayville Hearing Services apparently is now an office of HearingLife. I made an appointment with the Sayville office for a hearing test with a hearing aid that I recently got elsewhere. When I arrived I was told no appointment was listed although I was in the computer. They said they would go ahead anyway. A few minutes later I was informed that they did not have the program to test my brand of equipment. I told the brand to the person that I made the appointment with. Terrance was terribly unprofessional with my father. He might as well be working in a car dealership. Nothing felt medical. It was all about sales for him. Very disappointed and will not go back to another hearing life.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I drove an hour away for this appointment. I got a call at 0958, as I was pulling into the building for my 10am appointment to be told they can not see me as they needed early check in. They told me I could wait another hour or this afternoon for another appointment. When I told them no, that is ridiculous I am there at my appointment time, the receptionist hung up on me. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This was the best service I have ever received. They got me a same day appt and were able to repair my hearing aids. I was lost without them and the thought of mailing them back to the manufacturer was daunting. The receptionist was kind and understanding and Theodore B***, the Hearing Insrument Specialist gave me the most efficient and kind help one could ever ask for. I was a strangers to them and they treated me like a loyal customer! Kudos!

I received a free hearing test from Hearing Life in Midwest City, OK, on or about February 12, 2019; I was unable to afford the devices at the price quoted. I neglected to ask for a printout of my hearing evaluation for my personal medical files ... I visited this location again on May 3, 2019, to ask for the printout. The receptionist told me the cost for a printout would be $75.00! I couldn't believe it! I'll not ever use this company again. *** **********
