Great service, extremely friendly and welcoming staff. We were passing through and googled "best gumbo in Shreveport". Well, this is what showed up. I was reluctant when we arrived and almost left because the establishment looked scary on the outside. We encountered the police officer who patrols the place and assured us it was perfectly safe and "the BEST GUMBO around". Food was delicious and atmosphere was AWESOME. Thank you Herby-K's for a great experience. This Texas family will be back!
Not only does Herby K's have WONDERFUL soft shell crab, among all their other food, they are one of the sponsors of the Biology & Arts Exploration Program at Marlene Yu's studio. Perfect place for lunch after fun with the grandchildren I'll be there again next Thursday. Anyone want to join?
Wow. Wonderful Seafood Gumbo, Étouffée and Crab Salad, with 1000 Island it rivals some of the best Crab Louie's I've ever had. Twice the portions, half the price. Will be back.
